Dear Ability Family,
We’d like to take this opportunity to address the recent escalation and global spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As always, here at Ability Employment Services we are committed to the health and safety of our team, clients and community. Our office will remain open as we continue our mission to provide comprehensive and personalized support for individuals seeking or sustaining employment.
First and foremost, we would like to inform you of the preventative steps we are implementing:
-Increased frequency in cleaning and sanitizing procedures for high touch areas and items such as door handles, chairs, water dispensers, computers and counters.
-Additional signage to remind colleagues and clients of the importance of handwashing.
-Strict guidance to team members regarding not working while sick.
As our office remains open, we will be offering alternative modes of communication for regularly scheduled appointments such as telephone and/or video conferencing for those who deem it necessary. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and contact our front desk (509.242.3758) or your main Employment Consultant to reschedule your appointment.
We are continuing to reach out to our clients to receive updates on employers and personal preferences during this time. We will be making every attempt to continue to deliver client services and offer support wherever we can.
Thank you for your attention and consideration — it is our sincere hope that Ability’s actions and communications regarding COVID-19 allow our team and clients to feel fully supported and confident throughout this situation.

Ability Employment Services is taking the following actions for the next two weeks in response to the “Stay-At-Home” declaration by Governor Inslee regarding the COVID-19. (In effect 3/25/20)
-Encouraging all necessary appointments to be conducted through telephone and/or video conferencing
-Phone hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm
Our hope is that these temporary operational changes will give our clients the assurance that we are committed to protecting them, our team members and the general public. Our limited staff will continue to provide employment services to those individuals that require our on-going services while all non-essential activities will be scaled back and or conducted remotely to comply with the order.
